Bertin Oysters

Bertin Oysters

The Bertin family business then only comprised one single oysters pond and a small wooden shack. One has to wait until 1975 to find Bertin Michel oysters on shops’ stands. This is the beginning of the “adventure”.

From now on, the business has steadily continued to grow: oysters beds, fattened oysters in ponds, boats, ground installations, personnel.

Bertin Michel and sons oysters represent today: 15 hectares of oyster beds, 9 hectares of ponds for fattening of oysters, 12 full-time employees and 50 seasonal employees for the Christmas season. Bertin Oysters means: A know-how increasingly sharpened and as refined as our oysters, a sense of high quality so that our oysters are but a pure delight for your eyes and palate.
